A compact MLX affine conversion of Qwen/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next with sensitive language paths kept in BF16 and the model's own MTP block preserved. This is a non-sensitivity MLX conversion. It is not uniform Q2 and it is not an oQ build. Routed and shared experts plus the predictive n-gram embedding paths use affine 2-bit weights at group size 32. Attention, Gated DeltaNet, hyperconnection, routing, vision, token embedding, output head, and native MTP weights remain in BF16 or their source-compatible dtype. The upstream tokenizer, current chat template, image and video processor configuration, generation configuration, licence, and native MTP configuration are included.

A native Apple-silicon conversion of Qwen/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next , quantised directly from the official BF16 checkpoint. This repository contains a 4-bit affine MLX conversion of Qwen3.8 Flash Next. It was produced directly from Qwen's BF16 weights using group size 32. The smaller group is intentional: it also covers the model's 160-wide hashed n-gram embedding tables instead of leaving them in BF16. The upstream tokenizer, chat template, vision processor, and generation configuration are preserved. The optional upstream MTP head is not included in this checkpoint.

A uniform 4-bit MLX conversion of Qwen/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next , rebuilt directly from the official BF16 checkpoint with the model's native MTP draft block preserved. This repository contains the standard uniform 4-bit release. Eligible language-model and native-MTP modules use MLX affine quantisation at group size 32. Multimodal modules and MoE router gates remain in BF16. Group size 32 also covers the model's 160-wide hashed n-gram embedding tables. The upstream tokenizer, chat template, vision processor, generation configuration, licence, and native MTP configuration are retained.

COST EXPLORER

Great models. Clear costs.

Cost analysis

Adjust monthly token usage to compare estimated API costs.

1 M = 1 million tokens · USD
Compares base text-token rates within the same channel

Uses collected, comparable USD-per-million-token rates. Snapshots exclude cache discounts, tiers, extra reasoning output and taxes. Check current source prices.

Selection guide & FAQ
How should API prices be compared?+

Separate input, output and cache rates, then estimate the same workload. Image, audio and video rates may use items, duration or resolution rather than tokens.

Do open weights mean free commercial use?+

Not necessarily. Check each version’s license, commercial restrictions and policies. Self-hosting also incurs compute and maintenance costs.

Is the top-ranked model the best for me?+

Rankings depend on tasks, versions and methods. Compare accuracy, latency, reliability and costs on your own workload.
