LFM2.5-Audio-1.5B is Liquid AI's updated end-to-end audio foundation model. Key improvements include a custom, LFM based audio detokenizer, `llama.cpp` compatible GGUFs for CPU inference, and better ASR and TTS performance. LFM2.5-Audio is an end-to-end multimodal speech and text language model, and as such does not require separate ASR and TTS components. Designed with low latency and real time conversation in mind, at only 1.5 billion parameters LFM2.5-Audio enables seamless conversational interaction, achieving capabilities on par with much larger models. Our model consists of a pretrained LFM2.5 model as its multimodal backbone, along with a FastConformer based audio encoder to handle continuous audio inputs, and an RQ-transformer generating discrete tokens coupled with a lightweight audio detokenizer for audio output. LFM2.5-Audio supports two distinct generation routines, each suitable for a set of tasks. Interleaved generation enables real-time speech-to-speech conversational chatbot capabilities, where audio generation latency is key. Sequential generation is suited for non-conversational tasks such as ASR or TTS, and allows the model to switch generated modality on the fly.

**Local Voice Quality Enhancement** — compact neural models for acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), noise suppression (NS), and dereverberation of 16 kHz speech, running on commodity CPUs in real time. Causal and streaming (256-sample hop, 16 ms latency). This page hosts the published weights. Inference runs the GGML C++ engine on the GGUF files directly (build instructions on GitHub). **Authors:** Richard Palethorpe (richiejp) and Claude (Anthropic). LocalVQE is a streaming, CPU-tuned derivative of **DeepVQE** (Indenbom et al., Interspeech 2023).

The development log of our Music Audio Pre-training (m-a-p) model family: - 02/06/2023: arxiv pre-print and training codes released. - 17/03/2023: we release two advanced music understanding models, MERT-v1-95M and MERT-v1-330M , trained with new paradigm and dataset. They outperform the previous models and can better generalize to more tasks. - 14/03/2023: we retrained the MERT-v0 model with open-source-only music dataset MERT-v0-public - 29/12/2022: a music understanding model MERT-v0 trained with **MLM** paradigm, which performs better at downstream tasks. - 29/10/2022: a pre-trained MIR model music2vec trained with **BYOL** paradigm. The m-a-p models share the similar model architecture and the most distinguished difference is the paradigm in used pre-training. Other than that, there are several nuance technical configuration needs to know before using: - **Model Size**: the number of parameters that would be loaded to memory. Please select the appropriate size fitting your hardware. - **Transformer Layer-Dimension**: The number of transformer layers and the corresponding feature dimensions can be outputted from our model. This is marked out because features extracted by **different layers could have various performance depending on tasks**. - **Feature Rate**: Given a 1-second audio input, the number of features output by the model. - **Sample Rate**: The frequency of audio that the model is trained with.

CED are simple ViT-Transformer-based models for audio tagging, achieving **sota** performance on Audioset. Notable differences from other available models include: 1. Simplification for finetuning: Batchnormalization of Mel-Spectrograms. During finetuning one does not need to first compute mean/variance over the dataset, which is common for AST. 1. Support for variable length inputs. Most other models use a static time-frequency position embedding, which hinders the model's generalization to segments shorter than 10s. Many previous transformers simply pad their input to 10s in order to avoid the performance impact, which in turn slows down training/inference drastically. 1. Training/Inference speedup: 64-dimensional mel-filterbanks and 16x16 patches without overlap, leading to 248 patches from a 10s spectrogram. In comparison, AST uses 128 mel-filterbanks with 16x16 (10x10 overlap) convolution, leading to 1212 patches during training/inference. CED-Tiny runs on a common CPU as fast as a comparable MobileNetV3. 1. Performance: CED with 10M parameters outperforms the majority of previous approaches (~80M). `example_finetune_esc50.ipynb` demonstrates how to train a linear head on the ESC-50 dataset with the CED encoder frozen.

Dasheng (**D**eep **A**udio-**S**ignal **H**olistic **E**mbeddi**ng**s), or “大声” ("great sound"), is a general-purpose audio encoder trained on a large-scale self-supervised learning task. Dasheng is designed to capture rich audio information across various domains, including speech, music, and environmental sounds. The model is trained on 272,356 hours of diverse audio data with 1.2 billion parameters, and exhibits significant performance gains on the HEAR benchmark. Dasheng outperforms previous works on CREMA-D, LibriCount, Speech Commands, VoxLingua, and competes well in music and environmental sound classification tasks. `example_finetune_esc50.ipynb` demonstrates how to train a linear head on the ESC-50 dataset with the Dasheng encoder frozen.
