Model overview
The base model is wav2vec2-base, which is pretrained on 16kHz sampled speech audio. When using the model make sure that your speech input is also sampled at 16Khz. Keyword Spotting (KS) detects preregistered keywords by classifying utterances into a predefined set of words. The task is usually performed on-device for the fast response time. Thus, accuracy, model size, and inference time are all crucial. SUPERB uses the widely used Speech Commands dataset v1.0 for the task. The dataset consists of ten classes of keywords, a class for silence, and an unknown class to include the false positive. For the original model's training and evaluation instructions refer to the S3PRL downstream task README.

Limitations & considerations
Sources are insufficient to establish specific limitations. Verify task performance, latency, data policies, licensing and version lifecycle.
Source prices & cost analysis
Prices vary by channel, region and configuration. Channel quotes are listed independently and are not treated as a single official provider price.

Estimate monthly base token costs
Estimates exclude cache discounts, tiered pricing, multimodal surcharges, web search, taxes and additional reasoning output.

Do open weights permit free commercial use?
Not necessarily. Check the version license, commercial conditions and usage policies. Self-hosting incurs compute and maintenance costs.
Are these real-time billing prices?
These are timestamped source snapshots, not live billing prices. Check the channel for current versions, regions, discounts and billing methods.
