Model overview
FRIDA is a full-scale finetuned general text embedding model inspired by denoising architecture based on T5. The model is based on the encoder part of FRED-T5 model and continues research of text embedding models (ruMTEB, ru-en-RoSBERTa). It has been pre-trained on a Russian-English dataset and fine-tuned for improved performance on the target task. For more model details please refer to our article (RU). The model's results are presented on the MTEB and rusBEIR leaderboards. The model can be used as is with prefixes. It is recommended to use CLS pooling. The choice of prefix and pooling depends on the task.

Limitations & considerations
Sources are insufficient to establish specific limitations. Verify task performance, latency, data policies, licensing and version lifecycle.
Source prices & cost analysis
Prices vary by channel, region and configuration. Channel quotes are listed independently and are not treated as a single official provider price.

Estimate monthly base token costs
Estimates exclude cache discounts, tiered pricing, multimodal surcharges, web search, taxes and additional reasoning output.

Do open weights permit free commercial use?
Not necessarily. Check the version license, commercial conditions and usage policies. Self-hosting incurs compute and maintenance costs.
Are these real-time billing prices?
These are timestamped source snapshots, not live billing prices. Check the channel for current versions, regions, discounts and billing methods.
